In this project, I set out to simulate a highly realistic turning and milling operation, drawing inspiration from creators like 'WorksByDesign'. To achieve the effect of live material removal, I synchronized a boolean operation with the cutting tool's exact speed and toolpath—a mechanism you can clearly see in the wireframe breakdown.
Rather than relying on complex material shaders, the photorealism is driven by camera technique. By carefully tuning the Field of View (FOV) and depth of field, the resulting blur mimics a physical macro lens, adding cinematic realism while smoothing out minor surface imperfections.
